Israeli Internal Security Minister Uzi Landau has said there is "more than circumstantial evidence" of ties between Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and Saudi billionaire terrorist Osama bin Laden, the latter suspected of involvement in a series of attacks in the United States earlier this week.
In statements made to Jerusalem Post Radio, Landau admitted there is no proof that Arafat is linked to the U.S. attacks. But he reaffirmed Israeli intelligence that ties bin Laden and Arafat together.
"We are here [in Israel] in touch with Yasser Arafat, one of the founding fathers of modern terrorism, the one who [planned] the first explosions of planes in the air," Landau said. "He's the one who is not only promoting terrorism, on a daily basis, against us, but he's also a close ally of [Iraqi President] Saddam Hussein and bin Laden."
Landau likened any future meeting between former Israeli Prime Minister Sharon Peres and Arafat to a meeting between Secretary of State Colin Powell and bin Laden. Both would be fruitless, he suggested.
"Arafat is closely associated with all those who are engaged in terrorism today, starting with Saddam Hussein, the Iranians, the Hezbollah and their various offspring, as well as the North Koreans," Landau said. "You never speak about separate terrorist organizations. Often they train at the same camps and are always in contact."
"We don't speak about an isolated form of activity," he said. "Arafat and bin Laden represent the same culture."
I agree with your statement. Arafat is one of the biggest terrorists on the face of the earth. I don't get Powell at all. Arafat must be killed now, with extreme prejudice. He supports all these Jihadist groups, even let them out of prison so that they can go on their murderous rampage. Jihadists are a death cult that want to subjucate, oppress and eventually destroy western culture. We have no choice but to give them their Jihad right back at them with 100x the vengeance and ferocity.
So here in America we should offer Christ to those quasi-Muslims amongst us, I believe it's healthier than giving them heeping shovel fulls of delayed treatment that should be given to the belligerent amongst them .

It would seem to me Israel must seize the moment. They cannot be placated like the last time W Sr. told them to be good little Jews, be quiet and take it on the chin. Is Israel planning a major assault now or are they waiting for the U.S. to attack the Taliban? Questions, questions.

We have aided the palestinians. We have aided Jordan. We have aided Egypt. We defended Saudi Arabia and liberated Kuwait from Saddam's clutches. We supported the Afghanis against the soviets, and we carved out a piece of Europe so that the Muslims can have a home in the heart of Western culture. We are not enemies of Islam. So, we balance this support of Islam with support of Jews and Israel, and to them this is an affront? All the good deeds we have done for them and this is how they treat us? They are sick demented death cultists who know no proportion.
No doubt there are ties to bin Laden and Arafat. Or between Arafat and Saddam. Or between bin Laden and Saddam. And Syria. And Pakistan. And China.

As to the Israelis...they were off the mark to move against the Palestinians within hours of these terrorist plane attacks, something they had been hoping to do much earlier.
Powell's inclusion of half the world in his search for enemies is ludicrous. Each nation will bring their dull axes needing grinding and implicate accordingly. As well, by "joining in" nations who are culpable will basically be granted "immunity". This "feel our pain" nonsense has got to stop. How about "feel our anger!".
