Barron Trump, former President Donald Trump's youngest son and his only scion with former first lady Melania Trump, will not be a Florida delegate at the 2024 Republican National Convention, according to his mother's office.

"While Barron is honored to have been chosen as a delegate by the Florida Republican Party, he regretfully declines to participate due to prior commitments," a spokeswoman for Melania Trump told the Washington Examiner.

These days, I don't believe anything is by chance. The choreography of this story so far was to have Barron as a delegate on Thursday, only to drop him on Friday.

Care to speculate what's going on?

Probably told his Mom "Screw this feces, I'm hanging out with my friends."

And then immediately banged his head on the door entrance due to his 6-8 frame.

It’s called the wisdom of a mother.

Smart decision. He’s too young to have to face all the leftist rage and hate straight on. Let him get a few more years under his belt. I know he told Patrick Bet David that he was willing to take the heat now, but he needs a few more years.

I’ll bet this has Melania’s tapered fingerprints all over it.
Melania is a good Mom, who knows from experience exactly how nasty, vulgar, illogical, maniacal and violent the Dems can be. She wants to protect her Boy a little bit longer.

Donald Trump probably convinced Barron to let the plan go for now, since the lady of the house was so upset about it.
I think once Barron moves out of the family home, he will begin making more decisions for himself, whether Mom likes it or not. That’s how it usually is with young people, ready to jump into the action around them.

I’d like to know whose blazingly stupid idea it was to pick Barron as a delegate in the first place. The level of sycophancy on display is off the charts. Imagine our reaction if the democrats had installed Amy Carter, Chelsea Clinton, or the Obama girls as delegates at age 18.

Since he is almost certainly going to be preparing for college in the Fall over the next few months, it makes perfect sense-plus, his safety may be at some risk in a public/political setting-dems are rabid ghouls when it comes to any of the Trump offspring...

Maybe some Trump-hating Rino trying to suck Barron into the political arena so he could be used as a piñata.

Smart choice. Go somewhere with your money, Barron Trump, and have a nice, private life.

His ugly step-siblings not appreciating his getting the spotlight? His mother intervening.

“Prior commitments” makes no sense in this context.

It's not like this is a one day thing. He'll be going to college and will have plenty on his plate.

One step at a time.
