Donald Trump being sent to Rikers Island would cause ‘civil unrest’ - 'Can't control him'
Daily Express ^

Donald Trump would likely be sent to New York City's largest jail, Rikers Island, if he is jailed for breaching another gag order, according to a legal expert.

But Neama Rahmani, a former federal prosecutor at West Coast Trial Lawyers, exclusively told Daily Express US that Trump being sent to jail would likely cause “mass protests and civil unrest.”

He would instantly have world class security, better than secret service even. They would all be the most badass weightlifting gang leading shank-equipped wife-beater wearing convicts. You’d have a better chance of getting into Fort Knox than harming Trump in prison.
The things the establishment *thinks * they know about prison, they have no clue. Trump would be the King.

And then there are things outside they should be thinking about. They really have no clue that they could actually go too far one day.

Not to mention, it would be impossible to put him into the general population due to Secret Service protections. So they would have to clear the entire solitary confinement block to house him.

Not only in prison, but in solitary. That would be something. A former President campaigning to election thrown into solitary in a very nasty prison.

Where he would remain until his appeal would be heard, denied, and sent to SCOTUS. But, he would have “commuted suicide” long before he would be exonerated.

A general strike is the best weapon against the communists and this court. Shut the nation down. Buy NOTHING. No travel, no shopping, nothing. And they can’t come and arrest you for it.

A national call in sick could bring them to their knees.

“ And we have no master astro-turf demonstration machine to fund and coordinate protests.”

That’s for fake. There eventually comes a provocation that needs no coordination, no machine, etc. The Tea Parties come to mind in their initial form. This has the potential to activate people all in their own. All kinds of leaderless priests and resistance would appear.
A blind man can see it.

It would be genuine, no astroturf.

” there is a segment of society out there that, already angry, have seen what was done to J6ers”

Lots of righteous anger, still ... they are cooling their heels in prison. It’s ditto if PDJT is incarcerated. TPTB will do nothing, as they’ve done nothing for the J6 POWs.

Virtue signalling anger is a type of masturbation.

I would seriously doubt that is all that would happen. Putting Trump in jail would signal the time to pull the stops and water the tree of liberty. If not then, when? Jailing the leading Presidential candidate is the last line of shredding our Constitution and Republic. It means the end of freedom for everyone in America, no matter who you are.

These folks are delusional. He isn't going to spend a single night in jail

They don't want him to survive a single night in jail!

Putting Trump in jail would create a nightmare for the Judge, the court, the jail, the jail staff, the NYPD, and the city of New York.

"Paulie was cruel but consistent and that means he was fair."

When I was first hired as a C.O. in NY State's prison system in 1980, the first thing they told us when it came to interaction with the inmates, was to be firm, fair, and consistent with each and every one of them. You don't do for one, what you can't or won't do for all.

I agree, but think what would happen if he was jailed and connected with the other inmates. That would be something to wish for.

Not that people in the hood vote a lot, but Donald Trump‘s stock would rise dramatically. He would become a true folk hero. Don’t throw him in the Briarpatch judge.

As if we don’t have civil unrest already. Only arrest Trump and it won’t be one-sided anymore.

Summary from the Daily Wire on intensely enraging and triggering conversation today on the View. (I’m somewhat calmer now, hours later). Crowd was delirious with happy anticipation. Me:🤬 (see? calmer now)

Daily Wire:
The View wants Trump “put in the clink” to “make a point.”
“Which prison would be best?” Whoopi wonders.
Sunny Hostin says he should go to Rikers Island
Whoopi says they should “reopen” Alcatraz just for Trump, maybe send him to Gitmo, or have him be El Chapo’s cellmate.

Not good I agree. But what would you do personally? Or what would anyone do that you know personally? Put up tents on the Washington Mall? Walk around with other protesters holding up professionally printed signs? What?
