Lol...i still run xp on my Solidworks CAD machine.
Up until i tossed my 3.5 floppies, i still had win95 too! ;)
I found a 3.5 floppy a couple of nights ago
I think it was AmericaOnline, LOL
I had an 8-inch floppy from school, waaaaaaay back
Had to take one out of an IBM Series/1 one day back at the community college - the machine wouldn’t boot
There was SO MUCH dirt and fur balls — lol - I had to rotate the floppy by hand and clean it as much as I could
Got the Series/1 to reboot and it was alive for long after that
Give me Win 98 SR2 - had fax capability built in
Loved it - I was first (officially) writing Windows software back in the 95/98 days - 95 wasn’t stable enough but 98 and 98 SR2 were awesome - I had a LOT of fun back in those days - great tools - learned a lot
