You've never read the talmud, just a putz who mistranlated it. Moreover in this case, you are looking at a loosing arguement that was superseded. Jewish women could be betrothed at 3. They had every right to reject a betrothal as adults, and could only be married after becoming adults at the age of 12.

Do I like the age of 12 being the age of majority here? No. But it also hasn't been practiced for thousands of years.

I have read several versions of the Talmud, translated by different putzes. I find nothing of current offense in it simply because, as you mentioned, the really offensive parts haven't been practiced for thousands of years. And they won't be starting up again either.

The pedantic arguments of Rabbinical scholars from 600 years ago mean very little today.

Jew-hatred is based mostly upon envy. In any system of laws, Jews tend to play the game better than most of the population and prosper accordingly. The losers are easily persuaded to believe slanders and lies that will justify the losers stealing from the winners.
