Hiding in plain site is the singular person who could do more for the Trump candidacy, for the Republican ticket, for the party as such, and for the country, than any other.
His name is Dr. Ben Carson. The obvious question is: Why is everyone missing this?
Carson, without question, is a world-renowned surgeon and first-class mind. He is a gentle soul who served loyally as a cabinet secretary in the first Trump term—one of the few persons to do so for the full duration. Less we forget, he was also the dedicated vice chairman of Trump’s transition team.
As a person who always seems to calm the storm, Carson knows and acknowledges Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He is a devout man in every fiber of his being. I have no formal or informal association with Carson, but I recognize that he not only is an exemplary role model for all men, but he embodies the way of the Lord expressed in the Sermon on the Mount or the Beatitudes.

I admire Dr. Carson. But I remember a lot of posts on FR back when he was running for President making fun of him for some of his beliefs and for being a Seventh Day Adventist.
I don’t want Carson as VP, but have no problem with Ben as a member of Trump’s 2nd administration.
He served honorable in the first & can in the second.
Ben is too nice—Trump needs an attack dog—the man to take of the critics with a vicious snarl, not a smiling face. IF Trump is elected—it will be worse than the other term. He will be tarred with every crime—real or imagined. Trump killed JFK, sold plans to the World Trade Center to Osama, Trump is controlled by the Mafia. What ever lie they can concoct will be posted as true.

Age, as compared the 45th President.
I want a younger VP backing Trump in his second term.
Carson is an exemplary figure in both professional and private life, but a 79 year old candidate is not helped by a 73 year old veep. We’re starting to look like the USSR before Gorby or like Maoist China.
Dr. Carson would be a positive with little risk. Hope it happens.
Carson strength is also his weakness. He is TOO NICE a guy.
We need a fire breather willing to exterminate the cockroaches in the democrat party. Lieutenant Colonel Allen West would fit that description perfectly.
Carson wouldn’t be bad. tho i’m unsure if he’s a real fighter. definitely want him on the team but Trump needs someone else by his side leading the charge.

Yes, probably the most misunderstood Christian Protestant Denomination. We are simply Protestants. We are Lutherans becaue we believe in Righteousness by faith, (alone not keeping the Sabbath or the law...that’s the evidence of faith, the law is the standard, the 10 commandments).....we are baptists because we believe in baptism by immersion, we are methodists because we believe in living a life of obedience (holy living) to the best of our ability.....and then we have prophecy and we believe the fourth commandment will be a very controverted issue in the end.
The protestants of old recognized who the litle horn of Daniel 7 was and we follow in believing that. Daniel and Revelation go together and interpret each other.
Finally, we believe we are in end times and God is preparing a people for translation. The health message of the Bible, God’s original diet is a healthy one. In fact, National Geographic identified Loma Linda Ca as a place where people live an average of 8 or so years longer than the general population. Loma Linda is home of Seventh day Adventist, our Medical school, our largest church, and so many doctors and health care professsionals.
There are other distinctive beliefs, we dont believe the bible teaches anything about a disembodied soul that departs at death. The Bible says death is a sleep until Christ returns. Then the dead are raised....to meet him in the air and go home. We also don’t view the Old Testament as Jew and Law, and the New Testament is Grace and Christian. God never had 2 ways of saving anyone. We believe we are Spiritual Israel.....Paul said “ye be Christ, ye be Abraham” and Jesus said he took the Kingdom away from Israel and has given it to a new nation. Physical Israel is not relevant to end time prophecy.......We keep our eyes on Rome and that false system. We dont judge people....just the system that claims to be God on earth, to forgive sins and even to change the law of God. The catechism says Sunday is the Lord’s day, the first day but we disagree. Throughout scripture the 7th day is God’s holy day and only God can make anything holy.
I know many here disagree but that is how I understand the Bible and that is why I am a Christian first, a Protestant second and a Seventh day Adventist third.....in that order.
We study the Bible a lot....we are protestants. Our message is exploding around the world too....
We need nice Republicans to get along with everyone.
We need Republican Jimmy Carters to give our enemies everything they want.

I have said this before. Carson should be the VP pick. A great guy and Perfect in every way.
