I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice.
As teens, my sister and I didn’t understand my mom’s decision to receive Jesus as her Savior, but we couldn’t deny the changes we saw in her. She had more peace and joy and began faithfully serving at church. She had such a hunger for studying the Bible that she attended and graduated from seminary. A few years after my mom’s decision, my sister accepted Christ and started serving Him. And a few years after that, I also placed my trust in Jesus and started serving Him. Many years later, my father joined us in believing in Him as well. My mom’s decision for Christ created a life-changing ripple effect among our immediate and extended family.
When the apostle Paul wrote his final letter to Timothy and encouraged him to persevere in his faith in Jesus, he noted Timothy’s spiritual heritage. “I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also” (2 Timothy 1:5).
Moms and grandmoms, your decisions can affect generations.
How beautiful that Timothy’s mom and grandmom helped nurture his faith so he could become the man God was calling him to be.
On this Mother’s Day and beyond, let’s honor mothers who’ve made a decision to follow Jesus.
Let’s also leave a spiritual legacy for our loved ones.

Yes two Trump Train riders in one home at same time! Almost as good as a Trump Rally
Speaking of which it was nice to see first rally in quite a while and it be on a screen about the size of Rhode Island rather than my phone
Two resident felines a bit frightened by my presence have been scarce but did check out (for cats That means smell) my shoes n luggage. Probably then checked out rest of home for where those two cats(Luvie and Miss Kitty) were hiding in their house! But as they streamed by got a few glances and they are beauties,
Cotton has so many interesting things in her home! Upcoming storms cutting visit short by a few days but we’ll try to pack as much in as we can this meet-up.. lost a few hours as my GPS Gave a 3 hour trip time but I made it in a record 6 hours! That happens when Murphy helps coordinate things with any trip.

Nice reading today re mothers and Timothy and his mother and grands example for him. Mothers are always an influence and not always good. Most of us with great moms never really appreciated it until we were older and understood more about life, love, family structure and observed sadly the huge amount of dysfunctional families.
Thanks for sharing faithfully daily for us. Hugs to sweet Jul - one of your most favorite moms! A very special creative, caring woman.

Good morning Trump Family Train.
Dolly—it is so cool that you and CottonBall were able to visit together and watch the rally.
If I were 10-15 years younger, I would have been there, but alas I could not deal with all the standing and waiting, although the beaches in the Wildwood area—Wildwood Crest and Cape May—have been our go-to beaches for decades.
A good friend who is about 20 years younger was there, and we were texting and sharing pics all afternoon. She said it was an amazing experience, being among so many MAGA people and everyone in such a patriotic mood. At the end, when the sun set, it got very cold and windy.
Only Trump could get 80,000+ people to a beach in Wildwood,NJ on a Saturday. All those intrepid people sent the nation and the world a signal that was unmistakable—Trump’s support has increased, not decreased, and he is going to win in November.
CottonBall has a lovely home in a lovely area—from the pictures-and I am sure you two will have a great time.
