It looks like the thieves were almost home free. I think that gas station is just past Cherry Tree Road (at which there’s a traffic light). Heading east on the Conchester, if they’d managed to make it another thousand feet the road widens back up to four lanes and the speed limit goes back up to 45. They would have had a straight shot to either I-95 or Chester at that point.
