Absolutely the slowest election so far I have worked.. worked every election for last 10 years.

My borough is consistently among the highest in turnout in our county in terms of percentage of eligible voters who vote.

Not overly surprising there really isn’t anything major contested on either parties ballot to draw voters.

I’m not surprised that it would be slow - President Trump had the nomination sewed up months ago.

I’m a political junkie and I forgot all about it until I happened to see someone with an “I voted“ sticker. I don’t think I have forgotten an election since I was old enough to vote - even long before that!.

My precinct is a small one, but always is among the highest in terms of percentage of voters who turn out…

This is by far the slowest election I have ever worked, and been working them for more than a decade.

There really isn’t anything contested to draw our voters, but this certainly isn’t the first primary I’ve worked where that has been true… but his is by far the slowest election I’ve ever worked. Whether we reach 100 voters total is in question. Slowest election I can recall working was probably 150 votes, before today.

We’ll still very very slow but Dems are definitely showing up and Republicans are not as much, at least so far in my borough.. D’s are almost 2 to 1..

Registration is actually slightly in R’s favor so, definitely not a good thing dems are showing up to vote almost 2-1

Dismal looking numbers here in Bucks County (North 1) — A little over 100 total votes at 3 PM when we went in to vote. Did not realize there even WAS a Primary today, have been seeing nasty Anti-Houck ads & unsolicited texts on my phone but nothing else at all.
Made a “protest” vote against Fitzpatrick and filled in the bubble for Trump, but it all felt futile and discouraging, blah...
I voted for Williams over Sunday, mostly because he was part the charge to get rid of Krasner (who I have a very, very personal grudge against, piled on top of everything else he “stands for” *spit*)

Congress ignores the will of the people...now the voters are ignoring them.

Well the democrats did have some contested elections, but nothing big..

They definitely did show up in greater numbers in my district. End of day was little under 2 to 1 D turnout vs R.

However I also have to note that about 10% of the D voters wrote in uncommitted for their President selection rather than vote for Joe Biden in my district.

I will admit I expected more even turnout, but it was insanely light. As I posted earlier I think the lightest in person vote totals prior to today in my district was 140ish if memory serves during my time working the polls. We had a total of only 115 votes case today.

So Dems showed up more, but they did have some contested elections. Only 1 gop race even had 2 people running.. every other race was uncontested on the R side.. two races in dem side were contested and one had 5 candidates running.. so maybe that explains the turnout differences.

However fact 10% of Dem voters wrote in uncommitted in my district I think is worth more… there has bot been any concerted uncommitted effort that I know of in PA… yet 10% of the D voters In my district chose that over Biden.

14.7% in-person turnout in my solidly red York County district.

Write in votes were interesting: A couple of Democrats wrote in Donald Trump for President and a couple of others “uncommitted”; the anti Trump GOP write-in were one each for Mike Pence and Chris Christie and two for Ron Desantis.
