Call me when you have someone who can get 218 votes. I don’t like the decisions being made by Johnson, but there’s been enough inter-Republican warfare. There are not enough conservatives in the House to elect a truly conservative speaker. Until there is, we need to realize that we are not in control and look to pass the best stuff we can. To do otherwise is to tell the voters that Republicans can’t govern.
Too much common sense in your post.
Uh, Republican's can't govern. One would have thought that that is obvious at this point. What is needed, going forward, is for those citizens who still care about this country, and who wish to "make America America again," is to realize that GOP, Inc. doesn't share their values, that they need to find an alternative. Or create one.
Time's running out. It's very late in the day.
But you can't keep up the con forever, either.
To do otherwise is to tell the voters that Republicans can’t govern.
Well, truth be told, they haven’t and can’t.
