Colleges should have to co-sign on student loans.

Bingo. Been saying for years. When the schools have to start eating bad loans, that is when things can turn around. Get rid of tenure and force the schools to freeze their tuition and fees for 5 years.

Student loans should be treated like any other loan.

Here’s a thought...until one’s student loan debt is paid in full to the taxpayers, they must file single/zero dependents and can never get an income tax refund.

Of course Fedzilla should be completely removed from the student loan business in the first place....

OK —I’m a bit confused. SCOTUS said there would be no money to pay off student loan debt. Brandon said screw that, they’re gonna get the money, even though he has no authority to do that. Have these folks actually gotten money yet or is it still a campaign promise?

Wouldn’t the House have to bring forth a bill or something to authorize the release of funds since they are the only body in the government that can authorize this? Just because Brandon waved his flabby arm and said “let it so be” doesn’t make it legal and open the vault doors to the money or we would have presidents from the past getting buckets of cash from the treasury and “screw congress, I can do what I want.”

So like I said, I’m confused —have these promises about paying student “debtbeats” been made reality? And I don’t think that SCOTUS would let this attack on their authority stand.....

I don’t think you’re the only one who is confused. I didn’t think he could do that by EO.
