I had never before heard "Shoo Be Doo" or "Candy-O" until I clicked on your post. Are those tunes usually played together?
I would think they would both hold up as standalone songs, as they are quite different. "Shoo Be Doo" seems to be about a troubled relationship while "Candy-O" is more of a love song. "Shoo Be Doo" has a fast disco beat, probably in cut time, and more sound effects, while "Candy-O" has a more syncopated rock and roll beat and is somewhat more melodic.
“Candy-O” is most often played by itself but is sometime played with “Shoo Be Doo” as the lead in.
