I really hate that this thought came to me, but considering what the dems are doing to our military, is it really safe to assume that SS protection would mean that he's safe from assassination?
What (or who)'s to say that the SS won't be weaponized and used against him to actually do it?
Look at the actions of the FIB and CIA over the years.
