Regardless, the main point is that very little DJT stock is available to short [borrow], but that a HUGE amount of shares were being shorted in the first two weeks that DJT was trading.
The Naked Short fraud has been going on a long time, The only reason they haven’t Prosecuted and Jailed all these criminals is because it is the Big Boy Institutional Investors committing the Fraud.

For those not knowledgeable about trading, a ‘short’ sale is when you sell stock you don’t own, hoping to buy it to cover your short position when the price is lower.
In other words, if you think a price is going to drop you sell it now and buy it to cover those later.
Let’s say you short sell a stock to someone for a hundred dollars. If the price goes down to 80 then you buy that stock and give it to him. You just made $20.
None of this physically takes place anymore, you sell the OPTION to do this.
Obviously, someone (hmmm...who could it be?) is trying to drive the price down.

An interesting point — but you can’t buy puts unless someone is willing to sell. It seems that most of the purchasers who are bullish on DJT stock are small investors who don’t get into anything as sophisticated as options trading. Institutions that are bearish would want to buy puts, not sell.
I’m one of those small investors who don’t get into options trading, lol. Is there a way to find out if a lot of puts (or calls) are being traded, and at what price?
DJT listed FOUR main entities shorting the stock, Citadel and Jane being 2 of them. Jane is VERY VERY close to Biden.
Devin Nunes called out Biden two days ago asking if Biden was in cahoots with the shorters. Devin already knew the answer to that question.

the problem here is not puts, it’s naked short selling and they’ve been caught and exposed, big time.
This was the entire basis of the GameStop stock price jump.
A bunch of gamers decided to buy stock up to nail the short traders costing some of them billions at one point. So you had a bunch of people saying “This isn’t right.” and buying a couple of thousand dollars of stock to cost institutional investors a few hundred million.
Naked short selling is about the dumbest thing you can do because there is no limit to how much money you can lose. If you short a stock at $20, current market price is $50 if the stock goes to $200 you’re out $180 a share. This can’t go on indefinitely because of margin calls. Sometime in the not too distance future someone is going to come looking for you to cover your shorts.
If this became political all it would take is 5,000,000 retail investors to hurt these 4 institutional investors harder than any regulator ever good.

I don’t know the numbers but a lot of warrants are out. Earlier this week they announced the issuance of new shares obviously to close out warrants.
Expecting DJT to settle down, around $6.29 / shr.
