BREAKING! President Trump Releases Statement in Opposition to Johnson/Biden Ukraine Funding Bill, Calls on Europe to “Match The Money Put in By The United States of America”

President Trump released a statement this afternoon on the massive amount of aid that the United States is providing to Ukraine as Europe does next to nothing, and Congress announces a new $95 billion foreign aid package.

“Why is it that the United States is over $100 Billion Dollars into the Ukraine War more than Europe, and we have an Ocean between us as separation!” said Trump in a scathing Truth Social post.

“Mike Johnson has just been put in the hot seat by MAGA Man, Donald J. Trump. Let’s see what his response is.”

Every Republican in the House is on notice.

Kevin McCarthy was a more effective, more conservative Speaker than "MAGA Mike." No contest.

No. They both suck.

No. They both suck.

Yes, they both are not the strongest leaders.

But Johnson is gimped by a smaller Conference than even McCarthy had - with early resignations seeming to be planned by some.

That's in part why Johnson was in late November/early December insisting that foreign aid needed to be linked with immigration.

I say in part because I believe Johnson has not been "honest" about his position on immigration reform.

That said, if there are barely enough votes to pass aid to Ukraine, linking immigration reform to such aid at this time with the Republican majority as it is will fail in a vote in the House. I'm willing to bet any FReeper on that. Name the amount.

To those who say hand the House to the Dems, think about legislation that the Dems may pass from now until November:

1) MSR ban?
2) Abortion legislation?
3) Campaign Finance?

Proceed carefully.

He’s for it. He’s already said numerous times. He’s never talked about defunding them.

That’s incrediblly stupid big-gov [non]reasoning.

“We’re already so far into deficit spending, another $trillion won’t matter.”

Euros simply want USA taxpayers to take care of Eurpoe’s problems. Saving Europe twice wasn’t enough. You want to hide behind our apron skirts forever. Man up and be somebody!

But they won't "man up" for the same reasons they stumbled into two world wars. They're unified and rich enough to be a great geopolitical prize, but too divided internally despite the facade of the EU. Only with a bigger power acting as primus inter pares can they act.

And we should do so, not because it's in their interests but because it's in ours. First, allowing all of Europe's wealth and tech to pass over to Russia and the Chinese would be catastrophic for the US. Second, allowing a restoration of the pre-WWII and pre-WWI game of great power land grabs just sets the stage for another world war, even if by accident. That's already plain simply from the "Biden" regime's appeasement policies and the eruption of conflicts we're seeing now.

I guess there’s something to what you say. If North America couldn’t avoid other continents problems a hundred years ago, it’s less likely to now.

I’d dislike China gaining more than Russia. Russia is nationalistic now, the Soviets are long gone. As far as I’m concerned, the people in Eastern Ukr will do just fine if annexed.

I don’t buy the fears of expanded Russian aggression to the Baltics and such. I fear the world will have far bigger problems rather soon, well beyond whatever Russia may do.

Not since 1991. Ukraine is entirely in Europe, unlike Russia, which is in Europe and Asia.
