There is zero cause for denial here. In truth, a defendant is not required to be in court generally. I may be wrong on that, but I don’t think so.

I was a juror on a civil trial in Virginia. The defendant's only representation in court was counsel. The defendant was a corporation, FWIW.

Thanks. Which means that the court gave deference to the
CEO. In this case, this judge is so challenged she thinks
she gets to make this as big a pain in the ass as she can
make it.

That right there reveals prejudice and malice.
