McCarthy had potential and then proved why he shouldn’t have been made speaker.
The issue with Republicans, they don’t have enough true conservatives to elect a speaker on their own, in order to elect a speaker, they have to settle for a middle of the road person and when he makes RINO decisions then threats to remove him begin.
What’s interesting to me is MTG was 100% behind Kevin McCarthy now she’s trying to remove Johnson, both of them have been disappointing, why did she support one and not the other.

Speaking at an event at Georgetown University, McCarthy said that the only reason he is not speaker is because “one person wanted me to stop an ethics complaint because he slept with a 17-year-old.” It was the most explicit reference he has made to the allegations against Gaetz, a longtime congressional nemesis, who was the leader of efforts to prevent McCarthy from becoming speaker in January and successfully force his ouster in October.
