It is still rare and supposedly treatable for the few u fortu ates that might get it. We’ve already been through this scare mongering in the past when the eu and ilk were proclaiming impending doom from bird flu- it never happened- they were squeaking about how it would mutate and affect many millions, perhaps a few billion. If I remember right, I think I recall seeing that a few human cases happened back then too? But at any rate, it is still rare- extremely rare for it to muted to human form, and even if it did, it isn’t transmittable bynormal virus means, ie 8n the air, or easily through contact supposedly

I guess it all depends on how the GoF techs re-engineer the virus to jump from birds and kill humans. They’ve had 2 years and plenty of local Chinese test patients.
