Didn't Reagan pick Bush at the last minute? Also Didn't Bush 41 pick Quayle late also?

Gen. Mike Flynn would be a great choice. 🙂👍

Picking Trump’s Veep is a very tricky matter.
Do you choose someone who is competent, conservative, and will carry on with the MAGA agenda in 2028 and 2032 as President?
Or do you pull a Biden and pick a goofball that the Left wouldn’t want to take over the Presidency, thus providing a cushion for any future Trump impeachment?
A very competent Veep will make it too attractive for RINO Republicans in the Senate to vote to convict Trump on whatever bogus charges the Democrats bring.

If it is someone running for office, it will likely be in the summer. Of course in many states you can run for more than one position at the same time. There’s a scenario that would be very funny, but I won’t mention it now.

Hope it is someone who will be loyal to him.
Love President Trump but I think he made a big mistake yesterday. Responding to Brandon's "Day of Transgender Visibility" he called November 5th. "Day of Christian Visibility".
Why limit his appeal on election day?

McCain announced his pick AT the Convention.
I think that’s pretty much standard.

It’s driving the left insane that they have no idea what is going on inside the Trump campaign.

Trump will choose a VP after the Democrat National Convention when he’ll know who he is running against.

But we can get more specific than that. As I wrote four years ago, the timing of running-mate announcements has historically depended on when each party has held its convention.I guess the author answered his own question

The LAAP-dog media wants President Trump to announce his VP pick now so they can manufacture four months of hit pieces on that person before the convention.
