Does this mean the insurers will change their offerings in their Medicare advantage plans, like cutting out some of the optional benefits they don’t have to have????

It does not affect me because I pay out of pocket for a larger Medicare Supplemental plan that has broader and larger coverage than Medicare Advantage plans, but only lacks some of the “freebies” thrown in some of the Medicare Advantage plans, like dental and eye care.

In general, I think the quality of USA medical care will continue to decline - specifically for the middle and lower middle class.

Upper middle class and wealthier families will just dig deeper into their savings and investments and pay for the quality they are used to.

The poor will continue to receive USA Medicaid, which is undoubtedly the best free or low cost medical care in the world, although wait times for appointments get longer and longer every year.
