If you do any research, and don’t do it after eating, you’ll find these surgeries can be risky and may involve a lifetime of expensive and sometimes painful “maintenance.” The glib articles on the subject skip over the negatives, which may involve permanent injury and lifetime pain. (Not to mention death.) Having arrived at age 70, I wonder just how some of this stuff will age. And just how much will this ridiculousness complicate medical health in old age?

People go into this thinking that THIS will suddenly fix whatever is wrong in their lives. The suicide rate is incredibly high because, guess what, it won’t.
