They bought their homes in the 1960s and 1970s when the prices were on this side of sanity!

I spent 3 of the longest weeks of my life in Coronado/North Island in 1967 - Coronado wasn’t beautiful for those 3 weeks. What was beautiful were the sandwiches I had in San Diego after they told us our stomachs had shrunk so don’t rush into eating again. I still remember most all of what they taught us but I would go to great lengths to avoid repeating the experience.

A very pleasant good Tuesday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thanks Lauren for this morning's thread.

Thankfully we never lost power but some places South of us like Waurika and Ryan did. We did have a storm move through last night. As usual Gizmo hid under the bed but he's back out now.

Yesterday at Comanche Lake;

How's everyone doing this morning?

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

VERY glad to hear you made it through without any problems, other than poor Gizmo being scared for a while.

Thanks gals, y’all are so kind to check on me. All is well, just ended up with no internet last night.

Sunshine today, and the storm did blow all the dust away!

*HUGS*

Masters of the Air: A Final Review with Chris Mowery & Jared Frederick - The History Underground

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8kNJ0U-5Ho

Now that Masters of the Air has wrapped and we’ve had a few days to process it, we thought that we’d do a little post-series analysis with Chris Mowery of Vlogging Through History and Jared Frederick of Reel History.

Glad to hear you got through ok. Losing the ‘net for a while is always a pain but if that’s the worst you had to deal with, you came out on the good side.

So far, so good here. It raining and there are storms firing up but tornados have all been well to the north. We’ll see how it goes.
