Birds are SO industrious!

I have a collection of ‘fallen’ nests (I would NEVER disturb one!) and have Wren nests that have my (now deceased) Black Lab’s (Cinder) fur woven in.

I have found nests here at ‘the new farm’ that have hair and mane hair from our mule, Ithaca, woven in, and I have a number of nests that have orange baler twine woven in.

I’m waiting for an Oriole nest to fall from our big Maple in the house yard. That one has a LOT of baler twine in it and some things I can’t identify until I have it in my hands.

Nature Always Wins - no matter what we throw at her. :)
