Zelenskiy says without US aid, Ukraine forces will have to retreat

(Reuters) - President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said in an interview published on Friday that if Ukraine does not get promised U.S. military aid blocked by disputes in Congress, its forces will have to retreat "in small steps".

"If there is no U.S. support, it means that we have no air defence, no Patriot missiles, no jammers for electronic warfare, no 155-milimetre artillery rounds," Zelenskiy told the Washington Post.

"It means we will go back, retreat, step by step, in small steps," he said. "We are trying to find some way not to retreat."

Shortages of munitions, he said, meant "you have to do with less. How? Of course, to go back. Make the front line shorter. If it breaks, the Russians could go to the big cities."

Democratic President Joe Biden has urged the Republican-controlled U.S. House of Representatives to endorse the military and financial aid package, but House Speaker Mike Johnson has held up the matter for months, citing domestic priorities.

Not even children of the wealthiest residents want to stay in Russia.

They all tend to move overseas as soon as they're old enough. They know that Russia is crazy so when they can get out, they do it.

Not one more penny of US taxpayers’ money for this gay-dancing, piano d*ck-playing, running-around-naked-in-front-of-children, satanist-appointing, corrupt, totalitarian election-cancelling, grifting midget. Bye bye, Leather Boy!

We'll hit $35 trillion this year.

$214 trillion in unfunded liabilities.

“Abandoning a US ally that wanted to be westernized will not cause reduction in prices. “

- Ukraine is not now, nor has it ever been a US ally.

- It’s the normalization of the commodity markets that WILL reduce prices for everyone on the things they buy every day...food and energy.

Those are two indisputable facts.

This is the time for the EU to step up, pay up, and man up. It's their fight.

This is like the 1930s all over again. There's no leadership in Europe. Russia will eventually conquer Ukraine. Maybe what remains will be a rump state in Kyiv.

Not officially an ally only because of Russian threats. If Ukrainians had their say they would have been part of Europe long ago. Like Poland and Baltic states.

Everyone that can, always moves from Russia toward Europe and the United States. Except a few old people on pension, never met any Russians/Ukrainians that actually wanted to live under Russia.

The US looking weak on Russian aggression will have a far worse effect on the dollar and markets

They don’t. And they never have.

We have an elderly man in the White House. Yes, I'm talking about Joe Biden. But it does not mean Donald Trump is off the hook. He's 77 now. So far, he's pretty robust. But he'll age quickly. In 2025, he'll turn 79.
