Rep. Chip Roy Issues Blunt Warning To Republicans Who Voted For $1.2 Trillion Funding Bill
Forbes Breaking News ^ | March 22 2022 | Rep. Chip Roy

The swamp is back in full force we have a thousand-page Bill of $1.2 trillion filled with all manners of spending priorities that are at odds with the American people. This bill is over a thousand pages long, contains hundreds of pages of report language, 1,400 ear marks, and we've had about 24 hours to review it. That is not the way to do business, and the American people and American families are the ones left holding the bag. This is business as usual in the swamp, and here's the deal to my Republican colleagues: You will own every single bit of this if you vote for this bill. You own it... Everybody who votes for this bill today, you own it don't go out and campaign this year saying you oppose this stuff when you write the check because that's what's happening today. Every single Republican, every single Democrat who votes for this omnibus spending bill today, they own it. We should vote "no". You want to win in November vote "no".

If MAGA keeps voting for the Swamp Rats who voted for this, we deserve what we get. These Swamp Rats all need to be primaried, or replaced in the general election with MAGA candidates. People need to oust these Swamp Rats.

The passage of this bill proves (once again) that a Republican majority in the house or senate is futile if a majority of those members are moderates and RINOs.

The purists are right.

My first term GOP Congressman Brandon Williams voted for it. I gave him a chance and voted for him in 2022 when they split my district and sent my Congresswoman Claudia Tenney to the newly created district. She voted against this Bill today. I won’t be voting for Williams in November. I’d already decided on that because he’s previously voted to send money to Ukraine. He can KMA.

George Santos is running as an independent. We need more MAGA people to run against the RINOs.

With a one vote majority, Speaker Johnson’s hands are tied.
Just keep kicking the can down the road and focus with all of our energy on the election in November.
This election is Armageddon if we lose.
The communists will start killing any who oppose them.
That is what has happened in EVERY country where their revolutions have succeeded. More than 100 million innocent civilians murdered by their own government in the 20th century. Conservative estimates are 30 to 40 million in Russia, and 50 to 60 million in China. Their only ‘crime’ was opposing the illegal takeover of their government by communists.
2020 wasn’t an election, it was a communist coup, and this November’s election is where they plan to make their power grab permanent.
Turn out the vote for Trump in 2024 like your life depends on it, because it really, really does.

Sadly there are many who do not see this. Hind site is 20/20, unfortunately it’ll be too late to recover if Trump doesn’t become president again.

I believe back in 96 the ability to break down the bill in sections debate and vote on each was abolished to where we now have a last minute thousand page bill full of bullsh## and if you dont vote yes you vote to shut down the government the American people get fd again

The system has evolved to protect itself. It takes MONEY to get elected to the house and especially the senate. What comes with the MONEY? Corruption. Until we can get people with some form of character and morality, who are not obligated to who helped finance them, elected to govern, the situation will keep repeating. The constitution was written to govern a “God fearing”, moral populace. It was not designed to protect the people from corruption.

“the ability to break down the bill in sections debate and vote on each was abolished”

That sounds impossible to fix—if the Republicans continue to be morons.

Expecting Republicans to do the conservative thing and not cower to powerful Democrats is a dream. Ain’t gonna happen. Pubbies just bow to the Left.
