Beats me. I have been through several eclipses. Glanced at them, thought “huh that’s kinda cool,” then went back to school/work (depending on the year). Didn’t notice any significant disruptions.
Just more mass hysteria being fueled by the LSM and libidiot politicians.

I drove to the John Day River in Oregon for the 2017 eclipse. I was right on the centerline of totality and enjoyed it from a remote hilltop overlooking the river with 30 other people. It was one of the most awesome things I've seen. We had a couple from Austria that had traveled all the way to that remote hilltop to see the eclipse! The eclipse started up that John Day River Valley and moved southeast toward us.

Partial eclipses (eclipsi?) might be viewed a few times in a lifetime. Total eclipses will occur at a particular location once or twice in a millennia. My part of Texas had not seen a total eclipse since the 1300s.
