You missed a critical step in your analysis:

1. Texas passed a law.
2. District Court declares law unconstitutional.
3. 5th Circuit stays district court, allowing law to proceed.
4. SCOTUS declines to hear appeal, leaving 5th circuit stay in effect.
5. 5th removes stay, allowing District Court ruling of unconstitutional to proceed.
6. Texas law is blocked.

It looks like either:

1. 5th Circuit stayed District Court to allow SCOTUS to review. SCOTUS declined to overturn 5th Circuit.
2. 5th Circuit head-faked SCOTUS into believing it would stay the District Court, when SCOTUS declined the 5th Circuit pulled the rug out (removed its stay).

North Belize has some minor cabonates. I drilled a well at Spanish Lookout field. It was “OK”. Paid out, anyway.

The problem is the geology is very spotty with the mountains. All the formations are very irregular and crunched by tectonic movement, so it’s very hard to know what you are looking at until you drill a well.

It’s not exactly the Permian Basin.
