“If they showed you what they showed me, you wouldn’t have released it either”… Trump responds to unreleased JFK files…

President Trump has a reputation for delivering on his promises, facing down every obstacle the Uniparty and the Deep State could muster, and always battling fiercely for the American people. However, there was one promise he didn’t quite fulfill: the release of the JFK assassination records. Snarky reporters at the Associated Press covered this story back in April 2018.

AP:

President Donald Trump boasted last fall that he would open all remaining John F. Kennedy assassination records. So far, Trump hasn’t made good on the “great transparency” he promised then.

Trump announced on Thursday that the public must wait another three years or more before seeing material that must remain classified for national security reasons — more than five decades after Kennedy was killed Nov. 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas.

The National Archives released its last batch of more than 19,000 records on Thursday. But an undisclosed amount of material remains under wraps because Trump said the potential harm to U.S. national security, law enforcement or foreign affairs is “of such gravity that it outweighs the public interest in immediate disclosure.”

He ordered the CIA and other agencies to take yet another look at each blacked-out section of their documents during the next three years to see what more can be released.

CIA spokesman Nicole de Haay said the agency has already released more than 99 percent of CIA information that was in the Kennedy assassination records collection. “CIA narrowly redacted information in rare instances only to protect CIA assets, officers and their families as well as intelligence methods, operations and partnerships that remain critical to the security of our nation,” she said.

Lazy excuse. RDS was worse in that regard, yet you supported him.

You can choose Trump or Biden now. If you can't tell the difference, you have major issues.

And wasn’t Bush 41 in Dallas that day? (Maybe just an urban legend, but I have heard that.)

FAIL. Yet another moment of weakness and boneheadedness that could have changed the game forever and got us that "Tree, meet that thar refreshment you so desperately needed" moment.

But no. Probably jaaaaaaaaaaaared! (oy!) told him there were black rappers to pardon and ass kiss instead, as he rubbed his hands.

You could probably get a cup of coffee in a diner for 10 cents in 1960. Can you get a cup of coffee for $1.05 in a diner now?

I just expect my politicians to stick to their word, or stop making statements they can’t live up to in the first place. I know that’s asking a lot of that ilk, but I’m not in the business of giving them free passes, no matter who they are.

And especially Trump, because it's no big deal if he loses the election because we want to pick a nit.

CIA to Trump: “Yes, we killed Kennedy. If you make us reveal that, we will kill you too.”

That doesn’t answer my question. I wasn’t asking a for a definition of factotum. I was asking what the man meant by the statement that there hasn’t been a president since the assassination of JFK.

I believe he means that the person elected serves at the behest of the intelligence and deep state and not the people since the assassination of JFK.

Shortly before the infamous gap/deletion in the Watergate Tapes, Nixon is speaking about the break in, which had some Cubans that he used as his “plumbers”. Nixon was saying how the break in was stupid (he knew nothing of it beforehand), but “it could bring up the whole Cuban thing...”

Some have speculated that those same Cubans are seen in photos from Dallas (the three bums by the railroad tracks iirc). Haldeman(?) in his memoirs thinks Nixon may have been alluding to the JFK assassination.

Thanks. That’s probably what he means. I thought maybe he was implying something cryptic like there’s a secret document that eliminated the office of President, or some similar tin foil hat theory.

Anyway, I doubt President Reagan or President Trump served at the behest of the deep state. That’s probably why they hated them so.

You are correct. Nixon has been quoted as calling the Warren Commission the greatest fraud ever perpetrated on the American people. Supposedly, Nixon also said that he and LBJ both wanted to be president, but unlike LBJ, he (Nixon) was not going to kill for it.

The CIA was deeply involved with Oswald and the circumstances of the assassination. The identity of the three bums remains in dispute, but recent document releases show that as was the usual practice, CIA counterintelligence and the FBI tracked and surveilled Oswald after his return to the US from the Soviet Union.

Moreover, based on private information, I am certain that senior CIA officer David Atlee Phillips used the cover name Maurice Bishop. That being so, Cuban exile and CIA asset Antonio Veciana's claim that he saw "Maurice Bishop" with Oswald in Dallas before the assassination gains credence.

Finally, through CIA officer George Joannides, the CIA directed and financed DRE (Student Revolutionary Directorate), a group of Cuban exiles who clashed with Lee Harvey Oswald in New Orleans before the assassination. Supposedly, the purpose was to link Oswald publicly to Castro's government without disclosing the CIA's role.

In 1978, the CIA made Joannides the agency's liaison to the House Select Committee on Assassinations. In that capacity, Joannides withheld information about his actions in 1963 from congressional investigators whom he was supposed to be assisting.

I agree with you comments on the Nixon tapes.

We know for a fact that at least one of those burglars (Frank Sturgis) was involved in logistics for the JFK assassination.

E. Howard Hunt indicated he was in charge of site logistics for the assassination:

https://www.amazon.com/Bond-Secrecy-Watergate-Conspirator-Howard/dp/1936296837

That was just the logistics piece.

The strategic planning was done by others (imho Allen Dulles and James Jesus Angleton). Angleton was the Mossad connection.

The coverup was done by others with LBJ as one of the central figures and J. Edgar Hoover feeding a false narrative to the Warren Commission. CIA and Mossad kept the mass media in line.
