It’s not a ban. They shut down access themselves. A VPN costs money, hence at least some leaky attempt at age verification, which was Texas AG’s goal anyway.
SOME VPNs cost money. MANY do not. And can be found and installed with a few mouse clicks starting at your favorite search site.
