It WAS. Like I said-my default position on the Media (especially The Washington Post) today is to view every single thing they say as an outright lie, unless there is irrefutable evidence to the contrary.
And the smear, led by the likes of Jon Tester only highlights the wisdom of that viewpoint.
According to Wikipedia, the Leftist of Leftist sources, “Senator Jon Tester told CNN on April 24 that Jackson was known as “the candy man” at the White House, according to around 20 people who brought these concerns to the Veterans’ Affairs Senate Committee, because he allegedly handed out Ambien, Provigil, and other prescription drugs “like they were candy”.
Dan Bongino, who knows about these kinds of things firsthand said that the use of those drugs on personnel who must go overseas is de rigeur and criticism of it is total horsecrap.
And all the other “accusations” were anonymous.
Total hit job by the Left.
>> And all the other βaccusationsβ were anonymous.
I absolutely HATE that “unnamed sources” crap. I hate it in my local politics (where there are way too many whispering campaigns with vague sources), and I especially hate it from the “press” — who, if they had any integrity, would INVESTIGATE it rather than just passing it on as a smear. But of course they’re not really journalists, they’re propagandists.
