One reason why Jane Fonda couldn’t be charged with treason with her photo ops in North Vietnam, is that although Americans were fighting and dying, we weren’t legally (or Constitutionally) ‘at war’.
‘Treason’ is the only crime specifically defined in the Constitution.
But this is Sgt. Schultz and he was quoted as saying:
“I know nothing”
Did the big man get his 10%?
If he’s guilty of espionage, then hang him.
“If he’s guilty of espionage, then hang him.”
And give the big guy 10%!
