Please. If that were the case he would still be in the race, wouldn’t he? I guess you have contempt for the vast majority of Republicans who rejected him. He would of been slaughtered in the fall election if he was the nominee!
No doubt DeSantis would have been crushed in a general election. Even if his conservative positions were perfect, he falls way short on charisma and likeabilty. He allowed his handlers to get too much control over him, resulting in him never going off script and thus coming across as a fake.
