If the 2024 election goes the right way, the President and Congress should enact laws that would punish anyone who aids and abets illegal immigration with no restriction on the period it would cover, although I would think there is already legislation available now, so probably just an organizational exercise in applying laws not currently being applied, plus any loopholes ... and go after those funding these caravans and in-country assistance projects where it is known that the recipients of the assistance have broken the law to reach U.S. territory.
I won’t name names but it’s fairly obvious who is financing a lot of this activity. It is a very serious offence against the national security of the U.S.A. — Texas governor Abbott said as much when recently interviewed on 60 minutes. So did a former official (border) of both Trump and Biden administration on same program (seen on TV Sunday evening).
Lawful immigrants may fear some blanket “pogrom” is about to begin, I don’t see that as valid, it’s a strawman argument being made by leftist media to try to stall political opposition to a very specific problem — there are millions of illegal immigrants in country, including unknown numbers of dangerous people from a variety of non-hispanic countries (China, Arab nations, Africa etc) so this isn’t all about whites vs latinos, it’s about sensible people vs crazy (or malevolent offshore) people who apparently want to destroy the United States.
This is a vast crime against the American people and it should not go unpunished. They say some people are too big to fall — nobody should be above the law, especially the laws of national security. Respect for the law is not optional on political grounds. Either a nation has a rule of law, or it does not.
And what is making the situation worse is that bogus prosecutions are proceeding against a range of people who are political opponents of this apparently illegal regime. It’s no wonder they want to flood the country with illegal residents, they are led by an illegal president!

It's become obvious to the citizens that investigations and indictments have been landing on the wrong guy all along. I think a little focused chiropractic therapy on someone's 81-year-neck with woven fibers would be beneficial for the nation. Televised.
