Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley no longer feels bound by a pledge made to the Republican National Committee that she would support the GOP presidential nominee, she said in an interview that aired Sunday.
Asked by NBC News’ “Meet the Press” moderator Kristen Welker, “So you’re no longer bound by that pledge?” Haley responded that she was not obligated to endorse former President Donald Trump if he becomes the Republican nominee.
“No, I think I’ll make what decision I want to make, but that’s not something I’m thinking about,” she said, noting that “if you talk about an endorsement, you’re talking about a loss. I don’t think like that.”

I am not sure it’s money that motivates her. With Nimrata (and her supporters), it’s intellectual — an unshakable belief that THEY are born to govern, it’s in their DNA, and we poor sheep are too stupid and selfish to appreciate their virtue, hard work, and intelligence to get the hell out of the way and let them govern.

Her total commitment to self destruction is quite amazing. Very rare. The vast majority of politicians are totally obsessed with maintaining their political viability and limiting damage to themselves at all costs.
Somethings deeply troubling about Haley’s obsession with Trump and her refusal to drop out despite a series of humiliating losses.
There’s obviously hidden motives and deals which will soon become clearer.

The only question is whether she switches to the Demorat Party for a while before going to CNN. My money is no a straight shot to CNN because she is more valuable to them as a “Republican.”
Does Trump think dubbing the former Gov of SC “Birdbrain” was the way to win the state? Will going “Desanctimonious” help him win FL? He’s an egotistical billionaire for whom the “prize” is the R nomination ... imo. Savvy Dems will make him the nominee and he’ll undoubtedly lose imo.

It is amazing and that accounts for much of the party’s weakness, appeasement and backstabbing. There simply are too many enablers facilitating the objectives of the other side.
To paraphrase Donald Rumsfeld: In the GOP there are known rats, known unknown rats, and unknown unknown rats.
I think Trump’s name calling is a New York thing. It doesn’t appeal to me, but then not much about a New Yorker, does. I actually think it may be a memory device, as well. He can remember the insults he has come up with, rather than call the President of Mexico by the Egyptian leader’s name.
Savvy Dems will be stuffing ballot boxes. The “election” will have nothing to do with Trump’s popularity. If it did, he’d run away with it.
