Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley no longer feels bound by a pledge made to the Republican National Committee that she would support the GOP presidential nominee, she said in an interview that aired Sunday.
Asked by NBC News’ “Meet the Press” moderator Kristen Welker, “So you’re no longer bound by that pledge?” Haley responded that she was not obligated to endorse former President Donald Trump if he becomes the Republican nominee.
“No, I think I’ll make what decision I want to make, but that’s not something I’m thinking about,” she said, noting that “if you talk about an endorsement, you’re talking about a loss. I don’t think like that.”

Haley is now actively working against Trump and for Joe Biden. How can she not see that the liberal media is using her every time she grants them an interview? Using her to trash Donald Trump. It is happening every day and I’m getting sick of the little twirp.
Agree.
I never thought she would abide by any code of honor or promise of doing something. Why true something new at her age?
Great way to get one of the guest chairs on the panels on MSNBC, CNN and the rest. Plus Today with Hoda and Jenna. And maybe the View type shows.
“Tonight we welcome a sensible, reasonable member of the Republican Party who brings fresh, new ideas away from the extremes. Nikki Haley.” (three minutes of cheering)
So she comes out of the leftist Democrat closet. What a surprise.
Haley doesn’t do pledges. Pledges are old fashioned.
She’s right. Trump signed no such pledge.
And the RNC to which she made that pledge no longer exists.
The only reason Ronna created that pledge was so President Trump had to swear he would vote for the actual nominee if it wasn’t him. All the others who have refused to follow that pledge received no complaint or no repercussions. |
Actually Ronna created that pledge as a favor to Trump. He didn't have to sign it, of course. But everyone else did. Ronna bent over backwards for Trump. And he supported her. Until he didn't.
Well, if a company wanted someone comfortable with the bait-and-switch game, she's a perfect fit.
