Is it thought? Think of how much farther to the left the country would be, if we didn’t have it. We would have had zero conservative Senators in the last hundred years. A state legislature will always pick a moderate.
BS. We would have 60+ R senators ( some RINOS for sure ) with out the 17th amendment.
