At IA’s home game last night the cameras showed a small #22 decal at the spot on the floor where she hit her longest(?) shot.
It’s at about a 45° angle from the rim and only about 3 or 4 ft from midcourt .. nothin’ but net.
I don’t care much about all the records hoopla, but the kid is a joy to watch AND the team seems to play better/harder with her out there.
Just hope she keeps a level head in spite of all the rah rah and ends up with a nice, normal life after school’s done and ball’s over.
Wish that for all of ‘em, actually . . .
