I really like how Abbott kowtowed to the cartels for years before he discovered his family jewels a couple months ago. We don’t need a weakling like that in the White House.

It is possible that Abbott may have strengthened his border stance to place himself for Trump’s consideration as a Vice Presidential running mate. Alternatively, he may have had a “come to Jesus” moment and done the right thing as a result.

Check your math. Abbott took the lead a long time ago, before anyone else thought about making a move. He began Operation Lone Star in March of 2021, steadily ramping up the resources since inception. It was more low key, until recently.
