Her ‘product’ was her on-air reports. Now if her computer belonged to her or CBS (which we don’t know at this point) is a different question.
I suspect it is her own personal computer, else she wouldn’t much care one way or the other.

I have turned down 2 job offers in my life after going through the process. Until I read the employment contract. Both times it was because of an intellectual property clause, that they owned any thing I created while in their employment.
I told them NO. And explained why.
It was pretty late in my work career before I had a contract. Worked for privately held companies.
