Israeli swimmer Anastasia Gorbenko won a silver medal in the 400-meter medley at the World Aquatics Championships in Qatar on Sunday but didn’t receive a warm reception on the podium when she received her prize.
Gorbenko, the 20-year-old from Haifa, Israel, faced boos from the crowd in Doha as she was making poolside comments after the race.

To hell with these people! If they want to fight let them go to Gaza and take up arms against the Israelis. Otherwise it is just empty virtue signaling, even though the object of their virtue os greatly misplaced.
The name “Gorbenko” would also indicate a Ukrainian heritage.

During the 1972 Summer Olympics at Munich, in the early morning of September 5, a group of Palestinian terrorists storms the Olympic Village apartment of the Israeli athletes, killing two and taking nine others hostage. The terrorists were part of a group known as Black September, in return for the release of the hostages, they demanded that Israel release over 230 Arab prisoners being held in Israeli jails and two German terrorists. In an ensuing shootout at the Munich airport, the nine Israeli hostages were killed along with five terrorists and one West German policeman. Olympic competition was suspended for 24 hours to hold memorial services for the slain athletes.
The truth about Black September and Fatah was exactly the opposite of what Arafat claimed, according to the U.S. State Department telegram: “USG [United States Government] has information that Fatah [PLO]is in fact parent body of BSO. … The Black September Organization is a cover term for Fatah’s terrorist operations executed by Fatah’s intelligence organization … For all intents and purposes no significant distinction now can be made between the BSO and Fatah.”
And second in command of Fatah/PLO in 1972 was Muhammed Abbas the present president of the PA (Palestinian authority).
