New York Governor Admits State Legal Targeting Was Only at Donald Trump

New York Governor Kathy Hochul has admitted the lawfare deployed against the Trump organization and President Donald Trump himself was a specific plan for his targeting and any other business interests or people within New York should not be concerned.

It’s a rather brazen admission all things considered; however, if it changes the public outlook as the various New York lawfare cases against President Trump continue, is yet to be determined.

(Via The Hill) – New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) addressed New York business owners in a new interview and told them there was “nothing to worry about” after former President Trump was hit with a $355 million fine and a ban on conducting business in New York for three years.

Hochul joined John Catsimatidis on “The Cats Roundtable” on WABC 770 AM, where she was asked if other New York businesspeople should be worried that if “they can do that to the former president, they can do that to anybody.”

“I think that this is really an extraordinary, unusual circumstance that the law-abiding and rule-following New Yorkers who are business people have nothing to worry about, because they’re very different than Donald Trump and his behavior,” Hochul responded.

Well its either the case that all businesses need to get the hell out of New York ASAP

OR

The cases against Trump were clearly unconstitutional and illegal malicious prosecutions in which case the SCOTUS needs to strike them all down and sanction New York AG Letitia James and the NY Courts for going along with them.

When Trump wins in November, the DOJ needs to arrest and charge several of them for election interference.

My father would have told you 45 years ago that New York State government was controlled by nasty people.

The financial industry people should sell their residences to the doctors and lawyers and high tail it out of the state.

That video will be Exhibit One in Trump’s appeal.,/p>

That and Letitia James explicitly campaigning on a "Get Trump at all costs" platform. She openly campaigned saying she was going to engage in malicious prosecution and then did so. I don't know how you can get more clear cut than that.

That Video will be Exhibit 1 to Trump’s 1 billion dollar lawsuit against the State of New York, Judge Engoron personally, and the original woman plaintiff for Malicious Prosecution among others.

Said lawsuit will be Joint and Several and filed in Federal Court in Florida.

The 2008 auto industry did this in canceling many car dealership franchises. They selected conservative owners of car dealerships and closed them.

Everything I needed to know about New York was explained to me by a former client who relocated his business out of there back in the mid-2000s. His family had fled from Eastern Europe during the Cold War and settled in New York City.

When I asked him why he was leaving New York, he told me something that has stuck with me since then:

"The laws and regulations for business owners in New York are worse than they were in Czechoslovakia when my parents got the hell out of there."

That's all anyone needs to know about that totalitarian sh!t-hole.

while I agree with your statement, the difference here would be that they are incorrectly applying existing laws, and not crafting a new law just to get Trump.

who gets the fine money? if the state gets that money then guess what...the state has just found a unlimited revenue stream that the government WILL use to get more and more cash using the lawfare they’ve just used against Trump. when hochul says it won’t be used against anyone else she’s lying through her teeth. once government finds a way to separate you from your cash they will never ever stop. mark my words. if you own a Business in New York that relies on loans and expect business as usual after this farce you better leave pronto! it’s purely dumb to believe they aren’t coming after you next.

My grandparents moved from NYC in the mid 1960”s. Soon after they moved my grandfather was pulled over for speeding, per custom he was used to in New York he promptly handed the officer his wallet when asked for his license. The officer explained he was no longer in New York and to just take his license out himself.
