I was thinking something along these lines, but with all the eyes watching what we say, I’ll just say: mares eat oats and does eat oats.
I’m old enough now that I just don’t care about those prying eyes anymore, they have only 2 choices with me.
1: Shoot me dead
2: lock me up and give me free health care, food, and a place to sleep.
