Aclose ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin has threatened the use of nuclear weapons on the U.S. if it fails in its invasion of Ukraine.
In a Telegram post on Sunday, Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Security Council of Russia, has claimed the Moscow would use nuclear weapons in the event that "Ukraine with its allies" managed to push Russia out of the war-torn country.

Well, I have already suggested a wonderful peace plan. It could be done in 14 days.
1. Obligate Russia to respect law and order.
2. To make it stop stealing other’s private properties.
3. To make it understand that BORDERS are sacred! And that they should walk their troops back to Moscow where they belong. Russian troops must be stationed in Russia, just like Ukrainian troops are stationed in Ukraine. Pure logic.
4. Donbas and Crimea must be ceded back to Ukraine
5. A settlement must be found concerning what Russia will have to pay Ukraine - for all the destroyed towns and villages and cities, including the +70.000 Ukrainian deaths..
THAT is my peace plan. Inspired by the Law-and-Order philosophy.

In what scenario does Ukraine win? I guess if we send troops and quality gear with them...which the Russians would correctly see as a major international escalation/aggression...which yeah, would open the door to all national defense options. But not gonna happen...so sure, if the Chinese put tanks in Juarez and eagle pass we might look at taking steps too. Equally ridiculous.

yes, he either repeats the same thing week after week, or Newsweek runs with the same story with slightly different elements. Since no one in the West has ever heard Medvedev’s voice, or seen him interviewed, it’s easy to do.
Not logical. They would more likely nuke if they lose. This is trying to keep the war going… scaring us into supporting the Senate bill to aid Ukraine.
