Fani Willis Is an Embarrassment to Black People. She's the Proof That DEI Only Hurts Us
Newsweek ^ | Kim Davis

Posted on 02/17/2024 4:04:20 AM PST by TigerClaws

AAs a Black woman and working professional, I've never been a huge fan of affirmative action and the recent rise of critical theory, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives has only bolstered my resistance. While it may seem necessary to some in order to right the wrongs of the past, I can sum up why these measures are an unmitigated disaster for hard-working Black Americans in two words:

Fani Willis.

Willis is the prosecutor in one of the nation's major cities and most high profile cases against former President Donald Trump. Her position and the historic nature of the case she is prosecuting put her in an elite class most Black people will never even dream of reaching. One would expect such a person to be polished and classy, and able to remain so even while responding to an uncomfortable barrage of questions on the witness stand.

Instead, what we got was a defiant, childish, sour woman who spoke with the sophistication of teenage girl at her first college party.

It wasn't simply that she sounded angry—she also sounded stupid.

As I watched her testimony with my husband, an unspoken dread passed between us, weighted by a certain type of sadness. We understood instinctively that we were watching result of a diversity-first system that ends up elevating the weak while simultaneously besmirching the strong.

Willis is an elected official, but to even be in a position to run for one of the highest offices in her state means she has passed through elite job after elite job. She has received degrees, awards, and accolades.

How on earth, then, does such an "accomplished" woman sound like a freshman college student while participating in the trial of the century?

She was obviously paying to hook up since she did not bother to diet or exercise and her expressions alone, including the wink, would cause any guy to need another blue pill.

She wore her top backwards in court!

What was that all about? Bizarre.

She a cash hoard!

Did Fani Willis, 53, wear her dress BACKWARDS on the stand? Beleaguered DA is mercilessly mocked by eagle-eyed social media users for sporting zipper at the FRONT of her pink frock

The really disturbing thing was when she walked to the stand, back to the camera, it looked like she had a large load in a diaper.

“...She has received degrees, awards, and accolades...”

They are handed out like candy, to the right person of color. It just shows how these democrat individuals (Yes, they are always democrats) are receiving unearned credentials. They are unqualified for ANY government job except janitorial services. This includes both Obama’s, the chieftain and high priestess of affirmative action.

Look at ANY major urban city in America and you will find nothing but incompetent government officials who can barely read and write (all of them democrats).

I think it is just an ill fitting dress not designed for lumps or bumps. Be thankful the zipper is all the up! Just the fact she thinks she looks good in it shows lack of judgement.

Makes one wonder if all the adrenaline rush of the trial led to some Fani/Wade hanky panky in her office while watching the hearing on TV.

When the luv-session was over, she decided to rush the courtroom...but, in her hastiness, put her dress on backwards.

>> Put together Newsweek, the author, and the subject matter and I think we can figure out what’s going on here...Willis is about to be tossed under the bus.

Interesting observation. We’ll see... you might be right.

Fani checks all the boxes to be loved by the Deepstate, but their real objective is to Get Trump BAMN. If she’s in the way, under the bus she’ll go!

No, look at the Daily Mail story. She wore it backwards.

Ever zipped up a blouse for your wife? Stupid but women clothes are kinda stupid and expensive.

I look at it this way. She represents the best DEI has to offer so it’s proof it doesn’t work and not only that it proves the educational system that bred this is a disaster, along with the government that promotes it.

Good article, but the adware was horrible and blocked part of the text. But she’s right: AA/DIE/CRT ultimately besmirches accomplished Black people by association.

Every time someone like me seeks professional advancement, I am forced to wonder how many people in the room think I shouldn't be there before I've even opened my mouth. I will have to swallow offenses I should really be battling, because I must battle not only my professional challengers, but the specter of the "angry, defiant black woman" who only got her job because she's not white.

THIS right here is the tragedy of Affirmative Action. Any person with brown colored skin who has accomplished a promotion or advancement because of their hard work, knowledge, skill, etc. will NEVER be seen as having earned their success. How sadly unfair to them.

Sorry about the adware. I tried to repost the entire article but it was a 300-word cap due to a copyright complaint from NEWSWEEK. Didn’t even know that rag was still in business.

We need a federal audit of the bar exam.

There is no way she legitimately passed that exam.

The lawyers are obviously unable to regulate their profession.

It is time to Big Brother to stomp on them and find out what is going on....

I didn’t so much notice the backwards dress as the upside down flag pin she was wearing.
