Biden, in a Friday speech, condemned what he described as corporate greed in light of 2023’s crash, and also pushed for railroads to implement more safeguards.
“While there are acts of God, this was an act of greed that was 100 percent preventable,” Biden said.
“We were pushing railroads to take more precautions, to deal with braking, to do a whole range of things that were not dealt with. Norfolk Southern failed its responsibility,” he added.

I’ve been thinking about the same thing too. They must’ve been enough pressure on him to visit, even over a year later, where they thought it would look good for the campaign. In reality, the visit should’ve happened within a few weeks to a month of the derailment.
I’ve honestly never heard it was situation where some either man-made or natural disaster happens, then, over a year later, the president or other high-ranking person, such as the governor, finally decides to show up to offer support.
I did see a article about some of the protesters, and they did show a picture of maybe, a half a dozen supporters standing on the street corner, holding a little tiny. “welcome to East Palestine“ sign.

Groups of people with Trump signs in opposition to Biden who had a small press conference at the fire station but didn’t speak with townspeople. The ones interviewed were angry, very upset and crying and were thankful for Pres. Trumps help and seething with anger about how Biden and EPA has ignored them.
It was a campaign photo op and nothing more.
He’s a fake President who pushes a fake narrative about everything. People think I’m going overboard when I say our government is under enemy occupation, but that’s what I believe 100%. There is nothing these occupiers have done that has been beneficial to the USA in any way shape or form. They removed the true President by fraudulent election results, they locked up those who protested this fraud, they consistently push propaganda that focuses solely on keeping them in power, and they are doing everything they can to keep this power forever by changing the demographics of the entire country and destroying anyone who gets in their way.
