There’s no need to pussyfoot around. Why didn’t the judge just order that water, sewer and electric utilities be shut off? Judges can do anything, right?

This should be reversed by the first sane court that hears the appeal— but in Cali, that may be a long wait.

I wonder if any local history teachers will rise to the occasion. Closing the ports to enforce the tea tax was one of the proximate causes of the American revolution.

Yes. Even for California this judge is far, far outside his lane - and far enough he could get removed if he doesn’t fold quickly.
