You know you just gave someone that idea, right? I know but maybe the museum guards will get a clue about today's modern leftist culture.

“I’ve never figured out what they think they’re accomplishing by this kind of thing.”
I would bet 100% of the soy boys doing these stunts are trying to get in the pants of the ugly little blue haired slags in their activist meet up groups.

The late 1960s floods in Florence were far worse.

They are just using excuses for wanton destruction and vandalism.
There is no need to go after art to make their point

Their objective is the destruction of Western Civilization.

I’m going to Florence next month. This is on my short list of things to see. I’ll only be there one day.

Ive got a better idea. Helicopter them to the top of any nearby 1500’ plus transmission tower and have them climb down. No safety gear, as they probably wouldn’t knowmhow to use it anyway. For exta lulz, a drone will randomly appear and apply an electric shock. Have the two guys from American Ninja Warrior call the action. Put it all on pay per view.

Some people are born destroyers, I guess. They have no talent or ability to create anything and are motivated by destroying beautiful things others have created.
I’d guess it has nothing to do with “climate” but everything to do with their deep-rooted need to destroy.
The problem these days is we let these bastards get the upper hand and do not deal with them appropriately.

Unfortunately, a similar thing happened before, when, in 1991, a deranged man attacked the statue with a hammer, damaging one of the sculpture‘s toes.
Luckily Michelangelo’s David is more than seventeen feet high, including the 3‘7“ plinth, so his private parts are „out of range“ to an average person. Thank God.
