Since George Floyd’s death, formerly liberal-minded Americans started validating the anti-racist question of the century: What shall we do with the poor unfortunate Negro?
This singular question popularized a corporate philosophy that is the antithesis of civil-rights law, encouraging employers to entertain an individual’s immutable characteristics as part of the application process.Business tycoons like Mark Cuban have drunk the diversity, equity and inclusion Kool-Aid despite it containing corporate carcinogens and have chosen to die on the hill of DEI in the social-media public square, Twitter/X.
In an exchange with prominent X user @TheRabbitHole84, who was advocating meritocratic employment, Mark Cuban admitted he takes into account an individual’s identity before hiring: “I’ve never hired anyone based exclusively on race, gender, religion. I only ever hire the person that will put my business in the best position to succeed. And yes, race and gender can be part of the equation. I view diversity as a competitive advantage.” This public admission of identity-based hiring practices prompted Equal Employment Opportunity Commissioner Andrea R. Lucas to remind Cuban his actions are unlawful.

“Since George Floyd’s death...”
I thought it was Saint George Floyd.
Isn’t Cuban a lefty ?
1) Meaningful discipline of misbehaving students
2) Separation of students who refuse to behave from the general student population
Meaningful discipline might include corporal punishment up to and including being tased.
Isolation may involve putting them in classrooms where they are manacled to their desks.
I'm not kidding, but it may not come to that. Just throwing all the bad apples into a holding pen would allow those who wished to study to be able to do so. And if teachers knew that the bad apples would be removed in a timely fashion then fewer of them would be leaving and there would be better teachers teaching fewer, but more motivated, students.
Any attempts to even the playing field after people have reached adulthood is a losing game.
He is just plain smarmy
That’s what I thought too.
That’s been the libgressive’s bread and butter since the civil war. Y’all black folks NEED us to make it! Sadly, many bought the snake oil.
Almost all billionaires are fascists. So yes, he’s a lefty.
Hey, leave the WHITE SAVIOR Mark Cuban alone so he can continue with his rescue of black people. /sarc
‘Almost all billionaires are fascists’
I know Klaus Schwab and Gyorgy Schwartz are.
Too many did.
Almost nobody becomes a billionaire under their own efforts. Almost every one of them have made their money through connections with the government. That would include Mark Cuban. I view it as a club that you get invited to. If you can show yourself to be the type of person who will enforce government dictums, you will get support to become a billion.
Trump is almost the only exception to this, because I’m not aware of him panhandling to the government in some way to make his money.
Fascism is the cooperation of government and business to control the population.
Mark Cuban needs to believe that black people need his help to succeed. Belittling others lets him feel good about himself.
Yup. And because of his success in business, the thinks that his political views must surely also be golden.
Not white.
A European version of this ended up talking about the Master Race.
The independent thinker Malcolm X got it right:
“The White liberal is the worst enemy to America and the worst enemy to the Black man.”
That’s why ‘they’ killed him.
Well, let’s not talk about what Gyorgy Schwartz and Mark Cuban have in common.
It's racist to assume they do.
fwiw nationalism is a component of fascism.
guys like Schwab, Soros the general globo homo crowd do not seem to care about any particular nation’s well being.
IMO they are not fascists.
