I see Jill a little differently. The family has immersed itself in Joe’s political career and power. Do we know of any family hobbies other than”the beach”. I would bet Joe has been abusive to Jill, probably physically but definitely mentally, she fits the profile for sure and made to walk the line and still does.

She enjoys being the First Lady. If Joe has to quit, she faces returning to Delaware with him and his care is all on her. At least now she has a staff and several perks.
