Yemen has greater operational effectiveness than does the UK.
Dear Lord...
Don’t fret, the HMS Diamond has got this...

Is that one of the ships with a gym where the missiles should be?
Somebody screwed up.
This is because it is easier to cheer-lead than to actually prepare for war. The size of the actual fighting force would not fill Wembley stadium.
Grant Schapps is rather like Josep Borrell and Jens Stolenberg. Lots of talk, as long as someone else does the work and does the paying....
Please recall that that same UK intelligentsia urged the lockdowns during Covid, much to the detriment of whole economies.
If somehow, someway, if the US was being assaulted, say a Chinese attack on Hawaii and Alaska, does any rational person really believe that the other NATO nations would come to our aid?
Some additional context:
Maybe Australia would, but how much could they do?
Props and prop shafts for large ships have been routine engineering for over 100 years. This is unforgivable.

At Scot Forge, we provide marine shaft forgings, propeller shaft forgings and forgings for many other propulsion shaft parts to meet these standards. We even offer the certifications that keep your project propelled toward success - including ABS*, Lloyd’s Register and DNV-GL. With the long trips and large loads that seafaring vessels undergo, there is an increased need for marine shafts to produce more power and even do so with reduced noise. This demand has led to the design and manufacturing of more efficient propulsion shafts. Our team is well versed in acting as an extension of your team to review blueprints and materials to ensure flow-down requirements
Does it seem that HMS PoW can’t join the scheduled meet with USN in Red Sea.?
Shaft problems yeah that’s the ticket...
The Admiral Kuznetsov crew needs some good news.

Can The Propeller Shafts (And the Screws) of the Battleship Still Spin?
Gave the NATO games the shaft, eh?
I read an article several years ago that said the US Marines had more planes, ships and men than the UK in all its services. The UK, like other European powers has been funding its socialist policies off the military budget for a very long time. This is why they never meet their agreed NATO spending target of 2 percent. And, why they can’t. Any government that cuts the food stamps, fuel support or Viagra supply to the public will be out of office by the end of the week. If the Russians were on the border of each country and ready to invade, you’d see surrender negotiations as each country sent a delegation to Moscow to see what kind of deal they could make. Every socialist country runs into this issue. Only having police willing to beat and kill people would hold them together. Several countries have apparently floated proposed arms deals should Trump get into office... where they up their support of Ukraine but still don’t hit the 2 percent target. This, to maintain the US umbrella that allows them to remain socialist freeloaders on the US taxpayer.
Also, props to your bolt! 🙂
Still haven’t ironed out the kinks??? Saw a documentary on her maiden cruise. They had a few problems to iron out then.
